Frequently asked questions
Can you support vessels at terminals up the Ship Channel?
Yes — the entire Ship Channel from Galveston to the Turning Basin. Most tanker terminals require pre-booking and TWIC-credentialed personnel, which we arrange.
How do US customs work for marine spares?
We file under HTS codes for marine satcom equipment with US Customs and Border Protection. Most spares clear under our import bond in 24–48 hours. Vessel-in-foreign-trade status can sometimes avoid duty.
Do you require TWIC for terminal access?
Our US partner engineers carry TWIC. For Houston-only assignments we use the partner pool; for fly-in engineers we coordinate escorted access via the port agent.
Which US East / West Coast ports do you cover from this dispatch base?
Same engineer pool can cover New Orleans, Mobile, Tampa, Port Everglades, Miami, NY/NJ, Charleston, Savannah, Norfolk, Jacksonville. West Coast (Long Beach, LA, Oakland) is handled by a separate dispatch.
